The advantage is that it is cordless and can therefore be transported to lawns further away from the mains. Compared to the conventional batteries, this is at least 15 times faster. Lawn mowers are increasingly sleeker and lighter and designed to tackle even a slope, an awkward incline or ditch which is full of overgrowth that needs to be cut uniformly. There are petrol run lawn mowers that run on 50cc motor and can tackle grass with a height of 10 to 40mm.
For larger lawn areas there are tougher steel chassis bodied Lawnmowers that run on 1300 watt power. There are also plastic and nylon safety blades, which work more efficiently and are longer lasting. Blades can be changed according to our need. There are also special grass combs that can cut the grass that is growing closer to the walls and edges of flower beds.
It is good to opt for the smooth and quiet motors that do not make too much noise but are tough on the grass. For small and medium sized lawns it is best to go for the light weight models because the operation itself should be fairly easy and without too much effort. Gardening will then become a welcome pleasurable activity that one can look forward
to and the lawn becomes a place where we have expended our skill and energy to make it look like a green work of art.
